“Hotel has been upgraded, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The hotel upgraded to an indoor bar. For people that drink. The complementary breakfast is on point. The only place I will stay at is Piney Woods in Huntsville, Texas.”

“Everything was great! Customer service was awesome! But, the bed was hard. I woke up with lower back pain. The pillows were not firm enough and the bed felt like sleeping on concrete. It was hard. Thank you for the great service!”

“Staff was very kind and friendly. Upon entering the room, an overpowering smell of cleaning scent and we had to keep our door open for a few hours. We enjoyed the kitchette but unfortunately there were no dishes plastic or disposable to use.”

“Grass was knee high around the property. Multiple edges and corners on the length of the walls on the second floor had been patched and not finished. Stains in the carpets. Shower dripped constantly. Staff was rarely seen.”

“Under rent ovation so a few issues but the staff are excellent!”

“I liked the free roaming horses and goats and how friendly and helpful everyone was. We had one issue with our microwave and they put a new one in within minutes. The only thing that would of been better is if they maintained the cabin a little better and stocked the kitchen better with pots and pans,”

“The VRBO listing was accurate, house is cozy, AC is cold and location is prime for downtown area of Huntsville- we loved it”

“Wonderful hosts and great experience. Enjoyed being in an outdoor environment yet close to town.”

“Enjoyed our long weekend stay with friends, and found ourselves within walking distance of shops, restaurants and local spots. Only a few minutes drive from groceries, gas and supplies when necessary. Funky vintage decor full of character and western style with a full set of amenities in a quiet, comfortable location. Highly recommended for a one-of-a-kind stay!”

“Clean, efficient and the view out the back door was excellent. Great communication with the host.”

“Great place to stay. Host was informative and helpful.”

“Much larger space than I expected for a 1 bedroom. Very comfortable space and quiet neighborhood.”
